After 32 years of active service and immense contribution to building the foundation of Cultural Psychiatry as Editor-in-Chief of Transcultural Psychiatry, Prof. Laurence Kirmayer has stepped down. We wish his successor Dr. G. Eric Jarvis all the best in his new role.

Distinguished Psychiatrist Lecture on APA’s Presidential invitation, Former WACP Officer and Secretary, Prof. Dr. Renato Alarcon (Emeritus professor of Psychiatry at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine), will deliver the prestigious Distinguished Psychiatrist Lecture by Presidential invitation during the next annual APA-meeting in New York, May 4-8, 2024.
