On May 4, 2021, the World Association of Cultural Psychiatry (WACP), in collaboration with the Society for the Study of Psychiatry and Culture (SSPC), hosted a Trainee Journal Club from 3:00 to 4:30 PM ET, open to students, trainees, and early-career professionals. The session featured a discussion of the article “Idioms of Distress Among Trauma Survivors: Subtypes and Clinical Utility” by Hinton DE and Lewis-Fernández, with the lead author, Dr. Devon Emerson Hinton, as presenter and Dr. William Affleck as trainee discussant.
